| Tifgreen has a very fine texture and a bright green color. This variety was originally developed for use on golf course greens and is your best choice if you prefer a highly manicured appearance. Tifgreen is still used on some golf greens, but it also makes an excellent choice for fairways and home lawns. Tifgreen can be mowed with a sharp rotary mower, however, we recommend a reel mower for best results. | Tifway is used on more professional sports fields and golf courses than any other bermudagrass variety. Tifway has extraordinary durability combined with a dark green, medium-fine texture. Tifway 419 is a great choice for home lawns, sports fields, and golf fairways. Turf-grass is a perishable product. It does have to be Installed the same day it is delivered. If the turf-grass goes bad you will still be charged for it. The turf-grass will have to be reordered & you will be responsible for this payment too.

Watering & Maintenance
Consistent Watering
Newly installed lawns should be kept consistently wet for the first 7-10 days. Average watering time per cycle should be 5-20 minutes, 4-6 times per day.
If you notice water beginning to puddle, decrease the watering time. Once your lawn is established, reduce your watering to 2-3 times per week. Early morning watering is always the best.

Maintenance Tips
To begin maintaining your lawn, you should start mowing no sooner than 2 weeks after installation. Mow frequently enough so that you remove no more than 1/3 of the height of the leaf at one time.
Use a fertilizer high in nitrogen with a ratio similar to 29-2-4 with iron, or 28-0-4 with iron. Be sure to adjust your watering schedule as the weather changes.

I ordered 800 sq/ft of the Tifway 419 sod and the entire process was great! The sod was in great shape and almost a week later it is starting to come out of dormancy and green up due to it being early April. I was extremely surprised that the turf was delivered the day before it was scheduled which allowed me to get started nice and early the next morning. There was 3 of us and we were able to get it installed in only 3.5 hours. Very happy with the quality and the experience with Sod Delivery LC!!

Very happy with the sod
Las Cruces Sod Delivery delivered my sod super early in the morning. I got up around 730 and the grass was already sitting in front of my property. Grass came in excellent condition except for a few pieces which was to be expected. 10/10 on customer service and product. They even checked on us a day after the delivery, asked how the install went, and offered advice on what to do to ensure your sod thrives. Will Definitely be doing business with them again.
